FAQs
When should I start using this?
When the tattoo is no longer actively weeping and you're entering tight or peeling phase (usually day 3-7).
Can I use this instead of ointment from day 1?
For most people, a thin occlusive is more comfortable in the very early stage. Follow your artist's guidance — our routine is Barrier Ointment early, Recovery Milk as peeling begins.
How often can I apply it?
As needed for comfort. If skin looks glossy or wet, back off. Apply less and let it absorb.
Is it OK to use on healed tattoos too?
Yes — but Daily Barrier Lotion is purpose-built for that daily habit.
